Carolan Developments

Carolan Developments is a family business based in Cambridge. The business involves refurbishing properties and building new developments. They wanted an identity for the company so that they could begin putting their marketing plan into action.

Honest worked closely with the client to establish the key criteria for a new identity. The owners of the company, John and Helen Carolan, are originally from Ireland and part of a larger family business. They use a variety of natural materials, including solid wood, limestone and granite in their designs and are well known in the business for their high standards of workmanship/finish.

They wanted their Irish background, and a sense of craftsmanship, reflected in the new identity.

A distinctive symbol with a ‘Celtic feel’, made up of interlinking capital ‘C’s’ and a clean typographic namestyle.
