As Wothorpe Towers had no identity, Honest recommended holding back on the website and starting with the basics: a logo and graphic language. Honest worked closely with the client to create a mark and an identity that could work across a range of materials from letterheads to signage through to the website. Honest then developed a guideline document to help manage this.
The clients standards and expectations are extrememly high. They are using the best materials, the best stone masons, builders and craftsmen to restore Wothorpe Towers to its former glory and they wanted a mark to reflect this.
An identity that could only belong to Wothorpe Towers. Honest used the distinct octagonal shape of the towers to encompass four W’s, each W representing one of the towers and the diamond shape in the centre representing the plan of the building. The logo feels like the desired mark of excellence.
